Air National Guard S.T.A.F.F. Conference Trains Next Wave of NCO Leaders

The 103d Airlift Wing held the 2026 S.T.A.F.F. Conference at Camp Nett in Niantic, Connecticut from Sept 14-18. Fifty-six staff sergeants from six states gathered for professional development and leadership training.

Attendees worked with military and civilian leaders in workshops, team-building events and a Leadership Reaction Course that tested communication and problem-solving. The aim was to develop, empower and connect the next generation of Air National Guard NCOs and bring the lessons back to their home units.
