Ramstein Holds 7th Annual Memorial March Marking 25 Years Since 9/11

Before the march began, each participant reached into a wooden crate and took a lanyard bearing the face, rank and name of an emergency worker who died on 9/11. The personal badge reminded the hundreds of service members, allied partners and families that they were not walking alone. The 7th annual memorial march at Ramstein Air Base marked the 25th anniversary of the attacks, providing a moment of reflection and unity for the military community and its supporters.
