Troops & Tusks 2026 Tournament
Three days of hunting across Louisiana, one weigh-in, and every hog put to work feeding veterans and families.

What it is
Teams hunt their own land, each team is assigned a veteran from their area, and every hog comes back to the scale to be weighed, skinned and given away. Proceeds go to Fredrick Hebert VFW Post 4158, Hero Hunts and other veteran assistance programs.

Divisions and fees
Airboat Team
$300 for 6 man team
Six man teams. Pay with cash or check to Troops and Tusks.
Dog Team
$300 for 6 man team
Six man teams. Pay with cash or check to Troops and Tusks.
Still Team
$50 per team member
Six man teams. Pay with cash or check to Troops and Tusks.
Read before you hunt
Tournament rules
- Each team hunts their own hunting land.
- Each team is assigned a veteran from their area. The veteran has to be given kill opportunity.
- Each team will pick their hogs for stringer to be weighed.
- Hogs must come to weigh in fully gutted.
- All hogs for weigh in must be on ice and turned in by the posted weigh-in cutoff.
- If dropping off hogs at location, team must be tagged with color ribbon and team name on label.
- Pay with cash or check to Troops and Tusks.
- Cut out registration and waiver form. Send with payment to PO Box 113, Erath, LA 70533.
- Registration may also be filled out and turned in at the captains meeting.
- Weigh in location at “The Shrimp Festival Building”, 319 E Main St., Delcambre, LA.

By signing below, I/We agree to the fact that participation can cause any harm or injury to me. I release the organization or business named above from all liability, costs, and damages which could arise from participation in the above-named event or activity. I agree to accept responsibility for the costs related to this emergency treatment and give my confirmation of the same by signing this document.
